Austin grew up in Oklahoma and moved to Abilene to attended ACU in 2000. After graduating with a Marketing Degree, he started working in you ministry at Churches in San Antonio and Boerne (where he met Katherine his wife). They later moved to Denver where Austin worked in some churches and got excited about church planting. This led to Austin and Katherine teaming up with some folks from his ACU days and planting The Well here in Abilene.
His title is the Lead Pastor of Preaching and Vision and he serves as the primary preacher at The Well and the director of vision for the church. He has 3 awesome kids (Grace, Elizabeth and Jones), 2 hamsters, and a goldendoodle named Greta.
