Equipping followers of Jesus to live, love, and serve faithfully.

Key Areas

Equipping at The Well focuses on equipping followers of Jesus in four key areas:

Equipping Story Icon

Gospel Story - The Bible

A big, beautiful story of who God is, the true nature of reality, and the ultimate hope for every person, everywhere.

Equipping Belief Icon

Gospel Belief -Theology

True worship and faithful living require us to know who God is, what he is up to, and who we are called to be.

Equipping Formation Icon

Gospel Formation - Transformation

As we grow closer to Jesus we becomre more like him. Gospel formation is the process of being shaped into the likeness of Jesus so that we can become a people who love, live, and serve faithfully.

Equipping Living Icon

Gospel Living - Rhythms

In Gospel Living, we learn to love God and others through the practices and rhythms of the Christian life: spiritual disciplines, biblical community, evangelism, and loving our neighbors.

Classes
Covenant Partnership

At The Well, we practice Covenant Partnership. Similar to membership in other churches, Partnership is a way for us to make clear that this is our church home, but it is also more. Partnering with The Well is a commitment to belonging, growing, serving, and giving as a part of our church family. The class content is offered through online videos and is completed by attending a Covenant Partnership lunch and signing the Partnership Covenant.

Next Partnership Lunch: September 24th after 3rd service

Weekenders

Weekenders are short mini-conferences that equip us in important areas of cultural and practical relevance. Weekenders take place within the length of one weekend, usually starting Friday night and ending Saturday around lunch time.

Care in Community Series: Mental Health

November 11th 9:00am - 12:00pm

Our Care in Community series of  Weekenders equip us to care for each other in Gospel Communities and in daily life. The Mental Health Weekender in November will address what the gospel says about mental health, and provide tangible tools and thoughts on how to walk alongside people who are struggling in this area. We’re excited to get to learn from Tim Dunn, an experienced local counselor, as well as some of our own staff and leaders.

Registration includes dinner on Friday night, breakfast on Saturday morning, and childcare during all sessions.

Registration will open soon!

The Equipping Program

The Equipping Program is an 8-month discipleship immersion program, where we dive deep into story, belief, formation, and living by going through the storyline of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation. We go through the Old Testament in the fall, then the New Testament in the spring. The purpose of this program is to enter into the story that God has been unfolding since the beginning of time, and to equip us to walk with others in that story.

Equipping Program will be open again in Fall of 2024
