Equipping followers of Jesus to live, love, and serve faithfully.
Key Areas
Equipping at The Well focuses on equipping followers of Jesus in four key areas:
Gospel Story - The BibleA big, beautiful story of who God is, the true nature of reality, and the ultimate hope for every person, everywhere. |
Gospel Belief -TheologyTrue worship and faithful living require us to know who God is, what he is up to, and who we are called to be. |
Gospel Formation - TransformationAs we grow closer to Jesus we becomre more like him. Gospel formation is the process of being shaped into the likeness of Jesus so that we can become a people who love, live, and serve faithfully. |
Gospel Living - RhythmsIn Gospel Living, we learn to love God and others through the practices and rhythms of the Christian life: spiritual disciplines, biblical community, evangelism, and loving our neighbors. |
Equipping Environments
The Equipping Program
The Equipping Program is an 8-month (Sept 14 - April 5) discipleship immersion program, where we dive deep into story, belief, formation, and living by going through the storyline of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation. This fall, we will go through the Old Testament, then the New Testament in the spring. The purpose of this program is to enter into the story that God has been unfolding since the beginning of time.
Equipping Program Registration for the 2022-2023 Equipping Program is closed. We plan to offer this program again on a rotating basis so check back here for more info.

Family Discipleship Class
Meeting on Sunday mornings during 2nd Service from February 5th to March 5th at 10:30am.
“Wherever we have a house, God should have a church in it.” -Matthew Henry, 1704
What does Discipleship look like in your home?
Everyone’s households are a little different, and we are called to discipleship no matter where we are - especially in our homes. Maybe you are a young professional still working on what it means to worship God in your home. Maybe you are busy parents with a packed schedule looking to build a habit of worshiping God together. Maybe your household is less traditional, and figuring out what discipleship is supposed to look like has been more difficult than you thought. Setting specific time apart for discipleship as a household is a priority for each of us, but it isn’t easy to keep up with. Over this 5-week course, we will look at Biblical examples of scripture, prayer, and worship in the home, and take time for discussion and development of a practical plan of what discipleship can look like in your household.

Retreats
Retreats are a special time for us to get acquainted with each other as God’s people. They usually last 1 to 2 nights and it is the perfect occasion to listen to God’s voice as we re-examine our rhythms and practices. You will find more information here when we have one planned.
